New UTON digital EP:
"Hengen
höyriä, tummia tulia" was recorded, mixed and mastered between
11.7-18.7.2026 using mainly electric guitar and vocals as a sound source
+ some pre-recorded archive material. All sounds and artwork by Jani
Hirvonen / UTON. The artwork includes elements of old karelian
handicraft products.
Track titles are written in old Finnish style, translated to English: "In the deep blue of the heart, In the blue’s dark waters, In the spirit of the waters' soul". There is no one explanation to these lines, but together with the sound they are creating a story in listener's own mind.
