New album AWAKENED HYPERSPACE

New album: PROCESSING THE UNSEEN, AGAIN

 

Digital modular synth improvisations, recorded in September 2019. Edited and mastered January 2020 & Early 2021. Released on Double-CDR, edition of 20 copies, May 2021, Magma Tones.
Comes in 2x slim cases with two 4-page inserts + extra 12-page b&w photo booklet (photos taken around 2020-2021 in Turku, Finland). Digital version comes without the booklet material.

Copies of the cassette albums BEHIND THE SCENES (Black Horizons) and TAAJUUKSIA TAAEMPAA (Unread Records) now available from uton.bandcamp.com (or direct email). These were released some while ago, but didn't arrive to Finland until now. Both are looking great!

Mind Balance Program is a new concept & series of recordings by UTON; specialized to the minimal setups and sounds - 

and like the project name says, 

it’s made for the purpose to balance the listeners mind.

Side A is a live recording from the online festival Musa Ullakolla 6,  14th May 2020. Side B is a recording with the same setup as the live. Each copy has a different recording on the side B. Total 40 minutes.

Field recordings (from the forest in Turku) recorded in 2019 - modified in live improvisation with a synth & effects. Side B tracks were recorded in February and March 2020. No overdubs.

Digital version has the live recording in its complete length (while the cassette version is edited to 20 minutes). However there's no "Side B" on the digital version. 

 

New releases, October 2020:

 

UTON - Miraculous Existence 

Cassette album. Released by Aural Canyon (Texas, USA). The music of this album was composed between June 2018 - June 2019. After many versions, it was finally mastered and then released. Really great to have this out and available for the people. Transcendental drone music for meditatitive (non-)actions. Sleeve art 'Light Being' by Joyce Huntington. Super nice from her to give the permission to use her work on this release.  

 

 

Tim Cornelius & UTON - Atlantean Fusebox 

Cassette album, edition of 75 copies. Recorded in Dunedin (NZ) and Turku (Finland), 2019. Released by Ikuisuus.

 

Also available digitally. Tim Cornelius the original member of NZ-free noise improv group Sandoz Lab Techinicians - which has been a great influence for Uton during many years. It's great to have this collaboration recorded and available. If you don't know SLT yet, please follow the link and enjoy their mind bending tunes; it may change your life!

 

 

UTON-ZHERBIN - New Recordings

Cassette album (or mini-album), co-released by Magma Tones and Laakson Nauhat. About 30 minutes of harsher noise, with some psychedelic flavours. Dmitri Zherbin (from Helsinki) is very active in his noise actions; a lot of new material coming out all the time, on his Youtube channel and social media etc. Recorded between 2019-2020 in Helsinki and Turku.

 

 

 

HEADBOGGLE / UTON

A split cassette, released by Ikuisuus. Edition of 60 copies. Uton's tracks recorded between September-November 2019. Synths, field
recordings (from 7/8-19) samples. From the same era sessions as the stuff on the forthcoming album Behind the Scenes (which will be released by Black Horizons later in 2020).

77 minutes of Experimental psychedelic new age noise. Recorded in October 2018 and early 2020. Based to the sampler works (=experiments), with field recordings, found sounds, synths, percussions etc. Mainly improvised.
