UTON & BARDO TODOL
Collaboration album "Bday Lampazo Trompeta" was released recently on cassette by the Brittish label Steep Gloss. It´s a limited edition of 50 copies. Bardo Todol is a project of Argentinian sound & video artist Pablo Picco. We have known each other through internet many years already (from 2005 probably), and we have already collaborated earlier together, but that was the time when he was still mainly playing with his group Ø+yn. Now we played first time a duo, and it was an interesting session. It wasS played partially in Salsipuedes, Argentina (by Bardo Todol) and Turku, Finland (by Uton). We mixed the sounds together and the result is here. It´s an interesting mix of field recordings, weird sounds and improvisation. Total lenght is just a bit over 20 minutes.
UTON "UNI-O-MYTHICA"
new double-cassette album released by the Finnish label IKUISUUS in January 2023.
It´s an edition of 50 copies, and comes with a small booklet of AI created artworks with a help of Jack Vater (who already work with Uton earlier, on album "Behind the Scenes" in 2021
The album was recorded in the beginning of 2021, mostly with Korg Minilogue XD synthesizer. Only very few digital additions were included to some selected parts.

The debut release of a new noise project FORBIDDEN VISIONS available now at Magma Tones. The album name is The Evil Dominion. Recorded in October 2022. Based to the occult and conspiracy research from various sources.
Two digital reissues from Uton´s back catalogue:
● Untitled lathe cut 7" from 2004. It was released by Sindre Bjerga´s Gold Soundz (Norway) label in an edition of 50 copies. It was probably recorded earlier the same year or somewhere around 2003-2004 in Tampere, Finland. Field recordings from the area of Tampere, improvised instruments for example piano (recorded at the local public library), flutes, bells, ethnic string instrument(s), electric guitar, bowed strings, violin, electronics and maybe (so not surely) something else. Recorded and mixed with cassette 4-track.
● Earth Noise. Originally released on a split cassette with Ajilvsga, as Vol.3 of their Skull Bundle serie. 20 copies were available individually, 30 copies with the 10 x cassette set (Digitalis, 2009 - USA. Recorded in Hämeenlinna, Finland - August 2008. Improvised and bowed electric guitar drones with effects.
NEW WEBSITE of the artworks of Jani Hirvonen (UTON) released. This is the versions 1.01. Updates coming after some time. More works to upload, better photos or scans etc. Still a lot of things missing, but hugely a lot already visible. Most of the works are from 2000-2022, but few earlier also included.
